When he married Miss Vicky, I was jealous, and I cried!

I have visited your website many times, and I appreciate the care you have taken to keep the memory of Tiny Tim alive. I'd like to share a personal memory with you, and I hope I will be able to articulate it well. It is perhaps not as dramatic as some of the letters I've seen on your wonderful website, but just as vivid to me.

I grew up in the sixties and I'm 47 now. I fell in love every five minutes back then, it seems. But I was really charmed, totally in love with Tiny Tim. He seemed a new and sweet talent on the jaded 60's scene, and yet he fit right in with hippies and teens and grown-ups alike. I couldn't wait to see him appear on "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson. That was a big night for me. When he married Miss Vicki, I was jealous, and I cried! I oftened wondered, and hoped, if he was the same man in person as we all saw on t.v.. I saw him at the end of 1996, towards the end, on a talk show called "Rolanda". He looked tired and pretty annoyed with Miss Jan on that show. However I still watch it; it's my last memory of him memory of him.

Ironically I wanted and planned to contact Tiny Tim around '94 or '95 to photograph him and finally meet him [I was a photographer then]. I regret that I didn't follow through. Please know how much he is always remembered by his fans.

Jackie
