In the early 70's my friend Eric and I were at the boardwalk on the New Jersey shore.

In the early 70's my friend Eric and I were at the boardwalk on the New Jersey shore. We knew Tiny Tim would be performing that night so we waited near the back entrance for Tim to show up, maybe we could meet him or get an autograph. Failing in that we went back up to the main boardwalk, by this time Eric was crazy with wanting to see Tiny Tim. Before I know it Eric has pushed himself through the hoard of fans and climbed up and over this eight foot high dividing wall and landed on his ass inside, then I watch as Eric is dragged out by the cops and thrown down onto the boardwalk. Totally unfazed, he was thrilled he was able to crash the crowd and get inside and almost see Tim Tiny performing. On the way home that night and for the next week that's all Eric ever talked about, of course when we got to school the next Monday Eric was the talk of the school. (His fifteen minutes of fame).
