In 1972 I had the thrill of watching Tiny perform at the Steakout in Bellevue, Washington.

In 1972 I had the thrill of watching Tiny perform at the Steakout in Bellevue, Washington. I worked for the radio station that helped promote his show there. His show was wonderful, and he was so gracious as he thanked the men from "Musician's Local 312(?)".

After the show he invited anyone in the audience to come back to his dressing room to meet him. While I wasn't first in line, I did push and shove my way through the crowd to near the front of the line. As I shook his hand, my wife (at the time) said, "Mr Tim, my husband does impressions of you." I WANTED TO DROP THRU THE FLOOR!!! I expected him to at the least say something like: "....oh...." What he DID say was: "Oh (in his inimitable lilting oooOOOOOOoooo - I'm sure you heard him say that yourself!) I'd Looooove to hear you sometime."

What a GRACIOUS person. He is deeply missed. I am excited that the season is approaching so that I may begin listening to my Timy Tim Christmas CD.

God bless,
John K.
