In 1972 I was 12 years old I was a huge Tiny Tim fan. My family took a trip to Philadelphia. When we were walking through a park near Independence Hall, we saw Tiny Tim walking towards us. I ran to him saying that I loved him. He put my hand on my head and said, "God Bless you, child". I later found out that he was in Philly doing the Mike Douglas show, which at the time was filed in Philadelphia. We also met Dandy Don Meredith and Yul Brenner. Dandy Don was nice, Yul Brenner was not. But Tiny Tim was so nice to me and my younger brother. Someone with him handed him a photograph and pen. He autographed that photo and gave it to me. I still have it today!
