Dear Ernie,

I just had to let you know how touching and tasteful your memorial website to Tiny Tim is. I stumbled across it the other night and was very impressed.

As I sit here typing this, I can look up on the wall in front of me at a photo of Tim and myself backstage after performing together in the early '90s. I am a crooner and uke player who owes alot of what I do to Tim and his friendship and his kindness and his sweetness and his genius. Few people were fortunate enough to have known the real Tiny Tim -- the quiet, genuine, introspective and reverent man who never let a friend down and never went back on his word. He was a rare bird in the world of show business and I'm sure your website is making him smile and making him proud as he tries to figure out how to fumble through that big laptop in Heaven.

You can expect a small package from me shortly with a CD with a photo of me and Tim in the liner notes. I offer it to you in memory of a great guy who gave me my start and as a testimony to you and all you're doing to keep Tim where he belongs -- in the front row of the hearts of his fans everywhere.
