Girl's Parents 'Elated'
Tiny Tim Says He'll Wed Teen Fan

TRENTON, N.J. (UPI)- Tiny Tim, who tiptoes through the tulips on television, announced Wednesday he will marry a teen-age fan he met while signing autographs in a Philadelphia department store.
    The singer, in his mid-40's, said his bride to be is tall, blonde 17-year-old Vicky Budinger of Haddonfield, a recent high-school graduate.
    Tiny Tim, who refused to divulge his exact age, said he does not think the difference in their ages matters. He said they had been "engaged for some time."
    The singer, noted for his shoulder length hair and a voice which ranges from a shrieking falsetto to baritone said: "I'm 16 years old at heart."
    He made the announcement at the New Jersey State Fair, at which he is appearing.
    He said he met Miss Budinger while signing autographs at Wanamaker's department store in Philadelphia last spring.
    "I reached out my hand for a piece of paper, and instead she put her hand in mine. One touch and I knew it was true love," he said.
    Mrs. Allan Budinger, mother of the bride-to-be, said in a telephone interview that she and her husband are "elated" over the match.
    "We're very fond of him," she said.
    She said no date had been set for the wedding. The mother said she was with her daughter when she met Tim at the Philadelphia store,".
   We spent a week together in Atlantic City with him when he was appearing there this summer and we're just elated," she said.
