Tiny Tim Quits Manager;
        Wha' Hoppen to the Pile?

Herbert Khaury, much better known as Tiny Tim, has split with his former manager, Roy Silver, and has hooked up with a new manager, Joe Kaufman. Split reportedly took place last Saturday (Aug. 23), the day before Khaury closed at Atlantic City's Steel Pier after setting a record of nearly 130,000 paid attendance for the week at that boardwalk showplace.
    Kaufman said that "Tiny made a pile of money last year but ended up with practically nothing to show for it."
    Kaufman has been a freelance writer who says he's a longtime friend of Khaury's. He's also been associated with attorney Mort Farber, manager for Johnny Mathis, among others.
